Game is, believe it or not, deeper than most city sims. It has been around for longer than even Sim City, not making it to the states till recently; for this reasons it is a bit esoteric and convoluted in design and leaves a lot of legwork to the end. But in reality, this is a super deep game: the amount of background info about the world running is impressive, and little things are ed for that a Sim or Cities Skyline just makes up for with, I don’t know, more bloom or x16 filtering. Look, the game isn’t for everyone. Pretty much don’t play it if you don’t care about trains, because the biggest draw is being able to schedule trains within minutes of each other–this game doesn’t automate scheduling too effectively as an actual feature… Want to do the micromanagement, cause, well, Japan Loves Train Stuff… but if you are genuinely into city development you will only be disappointed if you are used to playing COD…
