@AntyTamed
Oh no, it’s not hard. I’d call it generic first because it’s just base management. You go into a trial and error process and once it’s done, the “compelling” choices seems trivial. There’s no lasting consequences in things you choose and yet people like you will just cling onto the difficulty, as if there’s nothing else. If that IS the case then there are different games out there that doesn’t badger you with moral choices and let you go play according to the goal.
Compare that to TWoM that gives you the survivors that have a matching reaction to the decision you’ve made and you start empathizing with these digital entities. They’re people compared to the things you manage in Frost Punk. It doesn’t blow its full load in the early stages and be a total cakewalk later on. The payoff for all that? Oh a narration that basically goes “were your decisions be good in the long run? Who fucking knows”. What a let down of an ending. Certainly more limped-dick than TWoM.
Hey there
I am having a crash when I select to make the basic heater in the first story chapter. It just quits to desktop when I try and build it. The original mode runs fine though.
Please help!
